We provide CPD in all aspects of Thinking Moves A – Z and P4C Plus.  We offer open courses, in-school training and online CPD for teams of up to 25 teachers, as well as trainer training, coaching and mentoring.

Here are our scheduled open training courses. All times are UK time. For school based training, please contact  .

Thinking Moves A – Z Foundation – online training Thursdays January 28th, February 4th and February 11th: three 2-hour sessions, 15:00 – 17:00: £125 per person, or £200 for two people – email 

P4C Plus Foundation – online training Thursdays February 18th, 25th, March 4th, 11th and 18th, April 22nd and 29th: seven 90-minute sessions, 15:30 – 17:00: £175 per person, or £250 for two people – email 

Values and Virtues online training : dates to be announced: three 2-hour sessions: £125, or £200 for two people – email 

We offer bespoke support sessions as a follow-on to all our courses. We tailor the content to suit the development needs of your staff team. The cost is £150 per hour for groups of up to 25 participants. 

P4C Plus Training

Our P4C Plus Foundation Training is aimed at UK, international and International Baccalaureate schools. Building on core P4C training, it adds two extra dimensions, making it especially well-suited for schools wanting to practise inquiry-based learning.

  • A focus on metacognition through Thinking Moves A – Z;
  • A way to take P4C into the curriculum through philosophical teaching.

The training is modular to allow flexible delivery formats, and consists of:

  • 5 training modules for trainers or P4C leaders to use with teachers
  • 25 lesson plans for teachers to use with students

The training is available in various configurations:

  • Online from £1,200 per school, or £175 per individual
  • INSET: from £1,500
  • Prices are valid up to 31 December 2020
  • All training includes access to P4C Plus premium online resources

We also offer a 3-day Advanced P4C Plus Facilitation course. Prices start from £2,500 for training for teams of up to 25 teachers.

Thinking Moves A – Z Training

Our Foundation course on Thinking Moves A – Z, helps teachers:

  • Become familiar with Thinking Moves A – Z
  • Understand how to build Thinking Moves into the curriculum
  • Understand how Thinking Moves can enrich inquiry based learning
  • Get practical advice on how to embed Thinking Moves into your school’s teaching and learning

The training is available in various configurations:

  • Online from £800 per school or £125 per person
  • INSET: from £1,000
  • Prices are valid up to 31 December 2020
  • All training includes access to Thinking Moves premium online resources

Values and Virtues Training

We provide inspiring training courses in Values and Virtues with dozens of really practical ideas for bringing values to life in your schools.  Our training will help you and your school:

  • Clarify what values you aspire to;
  • Understand the role virtues play in school and personal development
  • Be more aware of the complexities, issues and challenges involved
  • Access helpful and practical ideas for implementation

The training is available in various configurations:

  • Online training from £1,025 per school or £125 per person
  • INSET from £1,200
  • Prices are valid up to 31 December 2020
  • All training includes access to teaching resources
